WHY WE PLANT TREES

At Yarwood Memorials, we strive to sell high quality memorial products at an affordable price, but we also think it is important to take care of the planet while we’re at it.

Not just to offset our CO2 emissions, but also to contribute to the regrowing of wildlife habitats and raising awareness.

Being a company operating mainly online, we knew that shipping our products had an impact the planet. Society’s shift towards shopping online is taking its toll, so we want to make a positive contribution while involving our customers in the process.

That is why we will plant one tree with every purchased item at our store. We have now partnered up with Tree-Nation, an organisation dedicated to fighting climate change.

OUR YARWOOD MEMORIALS FOREST

Through Tree-Nation, we are now supporting two amazing reforestation projects, the Usambara Biodiversity Conservation in Tanzania, and the Eden Project in Madagascar. 

These projects are vital in helping to restore forests, create jobs, support local communities and protect biodiversity – all while helping to offset our carbon footprint.

 Now, you can be involved in these projects too, by purchasing on our online store.

WHAT DO I DO NEXT?

So you’ve made a purchase or are thinking of making a purchase at our store, fantastic! 

After you’ve placed your order you will first receive a confirmation email from us about your order, with a receipt of your purchase. You will also receive a separate email with the title ‘Yarwood Memorial Products Ltd offered you a tree on Tree-Nation.’ 

For every purchased item at our store, we will plant 1 tree (example: 5 brass urns = 5 trees). If you do not see it in your inbox, please check under promotions or your spam inbox.

Please note that we will be closed on Friday 21st November.

Any orders placed after 2pm on Thursday 20th November will be processed and dispatched on Monday 24th November.

We will respond to any urgent enquiries, so please email us or call us and leave a voicemail. Otherwise, we will respond on Monday 24th November.
