Due to significant increases in global manufacturing, brass, energy and freight costs, we will be introducing revised trade and recommended retail pricing from Monday 8th June.

We have worked hard to absorb rising costs since December 2020, however this is no longer sustainable.

New price lists will be issued as soon as they are available, so please sign up to our mailing list to receive these.

Marble Vault Urn – Starlight

One of the newest additions to our range, our Marble Vault Urn is available in four designs. With its sleek and modern design, it can sit discreetly at home as a modern piece of art. The threaded aluminium closure on the base is watertight, making it suitable for storage in niches and columbaria. If the urn is stored in a niche or columbarium, a waterproof sealant should be applied and moisture levels should remain low.

The Marble Vault Urn is not designed for outdoor use and should be kept sheltered from the elements and temperature changes. It has a soft fabric base to prevent slipping and scratching the surface underneath.

The Starlight Urn is crafted in a soft white marble, symbolising purity and peace. Due to the nature of marble, no two urns will be exactly the same and each will have its own unique details. Dimensions – 22.5cm high, 14cm square, 3litre capacity.

  1. Start by taking some digital scales and the container of ashes that you would have received from the crematorium.
  2. Place this box onto the digital scales and weigh the ashes.
  3. If the ashes are contained in a poly-tub, remove 230g from the additional weight. If they are in a cremation box, remove 200g from the weight.
  4. Our rule of thumb is that every kilogram of cremated remains equates to approximately 1 litre of ashes.
  5. This means if you have 3 kilograms of cremated remains you will need to purchase an urn of between 3-4 litres in capacity.
  6. We have products to suit all needs, available from 0.025 litre through to 8 litre capacities.
  7. If you are unsure about sizing an urn please call us on 01245 377057 and we will be able to assist you.

Product Instructions:

Suitable for inside the home. Can be used in a niche wall or columbarium, if a waterproof sealant is applied and moisture levels are low. Always use the strong plastic bag provided, to hold the ashes inside the urn.

  1. As the urn may be heavy, we recommend two people interring the urn together
  2. Use the metal key to unthread the closure in the base
  3. Open up the supplied plastic bag inside the urn and slowly inter the ashes inside
  4. Use the cable tie to secure the ashes inside the bag, ensuring the urn can close fully
  5. Use the metal key to close the urn, being careful not to cross thread the base
  6. After closing the urn, you can use an external silicone sealer for added peace of mind
  7. Clean gently with a diluted pH-neutral cleaner and a soft cloth

If the Marble Vault Urn is being used in a niche wall or columbarium:

  1. Ensure that the niche or space has low moisture levels
  2. Apply a sealant or wax, specifically for outdoor stone and marble, to protect from weather – a ‘wet-look’ sealer helps maintain shine
  3. Clean gently with a diluted pH-neutral cleaner and a soft cloth
  4. Maintain every 6-12 months with cleaning and resealing to preserve its natural beauty

Please avoid:

  • Direct sunlight and extreme temperature changes
  • Acidic solutions and harsh chemicals, including pesticides
  • Pets or animals soiling on or near the urn
  • Using abrasive materials for cleaning
